Quang Binh University Welcomes the Delegation from Naju University (South Korea)

On the afternoon of October 22, 2025, Quang Binh University hosted a working session with the delegation from Naju University (South Korea) at the Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Administration Building. This event was part of the university’s international cooperation program aimed at strengthening academic exchange and scientific collaboration between the two institutions.


Overview of the Meeting

Representing Naju University, the delegation included Mr. Cho Ho Hyun – Vice President of Naju University and Head of the delegation; Mr. Hwang Youyoun – Specialist for International Cooperation, and Mr. Tran Xuan Hien – Coordinator of the Association.
Also attending as a guest was Mr. Ly Minh Luyen, Chairman of the Quang Tri Province Agro-Forestry-Fisheries Exporters Association.

From Quang Binh University, attendees included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Vuong – Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector; Dr. Vo Khac Son – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector; heads and deputy heads of the Institute of Agriculture and Environment, the Faculty of Economics and Tourism, and the Office of Science, Technology, International Relations and Learning Resources, along with faculty members and students.


Speech by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Vuong

In his remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Vuong expressed his pleasure in welcoming the delegation from Naju University and emphasized that Quang Binh University always values expanding international cooperation, particularly with prestigious Korean universities, in order to enhance the quality of training and scientific research.

Remarks by Mr. Cho Ho Hyun

Mr. Cho Ho Hyun, Vice President of Naju University, expressed his appreciation for the open-minded and cooperative spirit of Quang Binh University. He also shared his hope that both sides would soon implement specific cooperative activities in the near future.

During the meeting, the two universities exchanged and shared information on training programs and scientific research, while discussing potential bilateral cooperation opportunities in the fields of education, agriculture, environment, and tourism.
Notably, both sides discussed the plan to establish and operate the Sejong Institute in Quang Tri, expected to open in 2026, with the aim of promoting educational collaboration, faculty and student exchange, and the dissemination of Korean language and culture in Quang Tri Province.


Signing of the Cooperation Agreement

Within the framework of the meeting, the two sides signed a Cooperation Agreement between Naju University and Quang Binh University, opening up many new opportunities for development in education, training, and scientific research.

The working session took place in a friendly, open, and productive atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of cooperation, understanding, and mutual respect between the two institutions. Both parties agreed to continue maintaining regular exchanges, promoting collaboration in training, research, and cultural exchange, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the friendly relationship between Quang Binh University and Naju University (South Korea).
